Is there such a word in the english language, folks?
If not, I think we should have one. And if it’s true that there is no such word ‘blogophobia’, we might as well go the whole nine yards and re-word it as ‘blogaphobia‘ because it somewhat resonates with the irrationality of its intended, yet to be defined, meaning in modern english literature.
Just try pronouncing ‘blogaphobia’ in an exaggerated manner in an accent of your choice with the following set of syllables – blo*gah*four*beer – with a recommended emphasis on ‘gah’ rather than the last syllable which may result with a fresh, chilled jug placed in front of you accompanied with the ubiquitous overpriced bill when uttered in certain fishing spots. Go on, give it a try, will yer. Yer all by yer loneself in front of yer PC, reading this crap I’m writing and probably sniggering silently. Trust me, nobody’s watching… unless yer webcam’s switched on.
So why am I writing this? Well, there’s this bloke who’s in charge of islamic affairs in the BN administration, AZH (pictured below), who had to make a press statement to the MSM regarding a recent public uproar with a blogsite which had postings denigrating Islam.. and Hinduism. Of course and as usual, the official government shrieking reprimands were confined to defending muslim sentiments on the matter.
Here’s an excerpt from the Star –
Zahid faults woman over blog (Wed 31/12/08)
TELUK INTAN: The woman who denied owning a blog that insulted Prophet Muhammad should have acted more swiftly in removing the offensive content.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who is in charge of Islamic affairs, said that she should have acted immediately when the blog’s existence was allegedly uncovered several months ago.
On Sunday, it was reported that the woman, in her 20s, denied owning the blog and that it had been created to target her and her employer.
However, Dr Ahmad Zahid said the woman should take responsibility even if she had not been monitoring the content of the site.
“She should monitor her own blog. People are visiting it and she cannot put the blame on somebody else,” he told reporters after launching the Batang Padang and Hilir Perak Federal Development Office here yesterday.
(Bold emphasis is mine)

Mind you, this same blockhead.. bloghead.. whatever lah has a doctorate which carries the standard bragging rights to include ‘Dr’ to his name. But the ‘good’ doctor (hey, I gotta be kind to the other genuine PhD holders) missed the root crux of the problem – how do you monitor and moderate if a blogsite does not belong to you?
AZH is probably the 3rd or 4th ministerial level person among other high ranking public servants including the lameduck PM and that frothing-in-the-mouth chap at the MOI who also made press statements on this issue. Perhaps, AZH didn’t want to be left out since the matter encroaches into his dominion.
And do you know what’s more pathetic? The woman, who is unwillingly implicated by default through the sweeping and unfounded statements by government officials, was questioned by the PDRM and is now free on police bail.
Gaaah! Don’t you wish GE13 is just round the corner.
The Zionists in Israel, with tacit support from the USA, are at it again with their brand of capital punishment – isolate an entire sovereign community to the brink of starvation and bomb them as an act of self-defense.
They have certainly refined the art of shooting fish in a barrel to highly sanitized standards so much so that latest news reports of the recent state sponsored killing spree can now be read during breakfast without you throwing up.

The Media Narrative on Palestine and Israel
The outbreak of violence in Gaza has been the top story in the mainstream media here in the United States for two days in a row now, and yet I have yet to come across a single news item from any of the major newspapers or television news outlets that mentions the total number of Israelis killed by Hamas’s Qassam rockets since the official collapse of the cease fire on December 19th. Mention is made of one Israeli man killed this week and half a dozen wounded, and all articles state that at least Qassam 110 rockets have been launched into Israel since Saturday morning, with some quoting the IDF putting the figure at 300 rockets for the past week. But not once is the total of Israelis killed given. The closest precise figure I was able to dig out was from a December 31, 2007, article published in the IDF’s web site that stated, “since 2001 until today, rocket and mortar fire originating in the Gaza Strip has caused the deaths of 20 people.”

The Inalienable Right To Resist Occupation
Israeli Jews are massacring Palestinians again. Zionists are pinning the blame on the elected representative of the Palestinians: Hamas.
Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni demonized the Palestinian movement: “Hamas is a terrorist organization and nobody is immune.”
Complicitly, the Whitehouse blamed Hamas, as did Canada’s government. Government officials in the US, Canada, and Europe spoke the same lame phrase, “Israel has a right to defend itself,” as if the slaughter being carried out by a world military power against a starving population could be construed as some kind of defense. Israel, the world’s most frequently cited violator of international law, a racist state, an occupation state built through violence and slow-motion genocide is being acknowledged as having the right to defend its criminality. This is preposterous; there is no right of an occupation regime to defend its occupation. Palestine, however, has a right to resist occupation!

To be fair, I should include news reports favoring the Zionists but I’m not in a charitable mood. Besides, those inclined would probably barf their breakfast with the second paragraph above. If only….
Meanwhile, the new Prez ain’t ready and seemingly dis-informed.
Politicians…. Sigh!
Huh???
It’s Worth Waiting 4 lah.
Gotcha!
P.S. Ok, folks. Gotta go and clean up the clutter in the backroom which has been piling up since October 28th. I’ll be back.
