In the aftermath of Teoh Beng Hock’s death, the UMNO Baru led BN propaganda machinery ranging from cabinet ministers, the MSM to the pro-UMNO bloggers are running riot with ‘disclosures’ and ‘exposes’.

The latest is a blog set up on 23rd July ’09 named “Truth for Teoh Beng Hock” which claims to have evidences of DAP corruption.

But let me digress for the moment.

Have you read another news report in Utusan Malaysia lately?

It was written apparently by Zaini Hassan (ref: Jeff Ooi’s posting) on 22nd July ’09 and excerpted below is a veiled reference to similar allegations of  corruption –

Did you notice the innuendo towards some form of disclosure will be imminent in the last sentence?

And it was written as if the reporter was himself sitting in the MACC interrogation room together with TBH.

In other words, it appears as if this article was written with insider information, fabricated or otherwise.

Subsequently, the above-mentioned new blog was launched on 23rd July ’09 and inexplicably, it gets noticed and mentioned at Rocky’s Bru on 24th July ’09.

DAP’s Ronnie Liu – DUN Pandamaran (N47) bore the brunt of the unsubstantiated allegations in this new blog.

In its third posting, 8 copies of ‘evidences’ were uploaded implicating him with misappropriations at DUN Sungei Pelek (N56) which in fact is under the purview of MCA’s Yap Ee Wah.

For the record, Ronnie Liu has his own blogsite, Color Blind, in which all fund allocations/payments/recipients/dates were tabulated and archived. Even though Sungei Pelek is not under Pakatan Rakyat, they have deemed it necessary to have a presence and appointed Ronnie Liu for the task.

Let’s compare the ‘evidences’ –

A) Pandamaran N47 (under RL).

B) Sungei Pelek N56 (under RL).

C) Disclosure from TFTBH blog.

Link – here

The data format in A) and B) are the same but the presentation in C) is entirely different although the blogger of TFTBH claimed that his/her ‘evidences’ were copies of the actual documents.

Next, did you notice the dates shown in ‘evidence C’? It included transactions done in January 2008. Blimey! When was Ronnie Liu ever a BN politician? And more importantly, he won at DUN Pandamaran N47 during GE12 in March 2008.

Appended below are three comments published at Rocky’s posting which may help you further understand what’s going on:

I need some clarification. Before 3rd of March 2008, Selangor is under BN and the ADUN for Sungai Pelek was Liew Chee Khong (BN) and the ADUN now is Yap Ee Wah (BN). Both of BN. Fine.

Now go to the first slide posted by T4TBH and we’ll see that the date is 3.01.08. Well before the 12th GE and on 3.01.2008 the MB is Dato Seri Khir Toyo and PR govt. is NOT in existence yet. So how on earth can Ronnie Liu be distributing contracts to people at that time. So it is really PELEK !

Yes we do see several tables of contracts and names being posted by T4TBH. So what? I don’t see anything wrong. I need hard facts.

Of course the other tables show dates after 3rd March 2008 but the first is very fishing. These tables could be fake and the person makingg it, in his haste failed to realise the importance of the date!

If I recall correctly, this piece of information was taken directly from an accusation towards Khir Toyo last General Election 2008. The same sheet was published to show how Khir Toyo – the Selangor government spent their money. The same piece of information was taken and modified, and published in this blog. I guess this must be UMNO’s job again. They have no ground to defend themselves on the death of Teoh Beng Hock that caused by MACC. Now they come out with such baseless accusation. All the Chinese Newspapers are smart enough in identifying this except Barisan Nasional’s controlled Media- starting to harp on this and try to overturn the bad image suffered due to Teoh’s death. BN should shameful of themselves…What a racist dog. ..

I have been your supporter all these while but i guess your job at Malay Mail has made you less attentive to the details given.

Even though i’m a pro-government person but i guess there are some bad malicious fact from the blog you are refering to.

For instance, RINA MOHD HARUN is the Ketua Puteri UMNO Sepang and used to be the Special Officer for The Minister of Works, Ir Zin Badak. She is also currently one of the Exco Puteri 2008-2011. And the RM20k mentioned (Each 10k) are for Puteri Umno programmes before the election. Therefore it cant be Ronnie Liu giving it to her, my dear friend….

For me, the truth is the truth….

In their haste to cover up the MACC mishap, these UMNO Baru/BN blokes and media moguls couldn’t give a damn for friendly fire.

I guess this is the new strategy of STRATEGIC AMBIGUITY that NTR’s 1Malaysia is famous for.

And totally clueless is the new buzzword.

Well, whaddaya know, folks.

Did yer realise that 23rd July 2009 had a quirky coincidence of sorts.

For one, it must have been a deliriously, happy moment for a first-time mom who still is, imho, an iconic diva in her own right.

Model, singer, actress and by my ‘younger days’ yardstick, the darndest, drop-dead gorgeous bombshell I’ve met .. seen.

She’s got that drool factor which words can’t describe because of the copious amounts of .. errr .. drool in one’s mouth which negates any ability for coherent speech.

Then, slowly but surely, my lower jaw drops, squashing the top of my pink knitted woolen turtleneck, worn over maroon bell-bottoms and elevated clogs. A neatly folded silk kerchief took care of the ensuing uncontrollable .. errr .. drool flow albeit done out of sight of THE most desired chick in town, and tucked away promptly into a back pocket with a tiny corner peeking out for aesthetics.

‘Act cool, maaan. Don’t stare. Never, ever look interested when an awesomely hot chick like her shashays in front of you’.

That’s the S.O.P. for any hot (under-the-collar-most-of-the-time-in-that-damn-turtleneck-coz-AC-ain’t-hip-yet-so-that’s-why-we-crowd-around-under-ceiling-fans-turning-around-at-Schumacher-speed) blooded dude worth his salt had to do.

Appearing sweaty is a definite no-no thus ‘Cuticura’  talcum powder was selling like ‘must have’ hare krishna beads.

Oh yeah, a Timex watch worn on the wrist but over the sleeve of that fluid inducing (why-do-I-have-to-bloody-wear-this-darn-turtlesuit) attire completes the (She’s-looking-at-me?-Really!-Oh-Gosh!-Why-do-I-wanna-pee ..) suave facade.

Ziana Zain became a mommy with twins, a girl and a boy.

She’s 41 and still one helluva hottie in my worn out black berry book.

Congrats, my dear ZZ.

I’ll always cherish that (so-so-close-I-could-grope-you-but-dare-not) moment at the Actors’ Studio club when we passed each other near the loo.

You cumming out and me hugging the wall, going ga-ga.

And I peed in my pants later coz unzipping a hard-on was still a work-in-progress maneuver.

Sigh! A very, very satisfying sigh indeed.

On the other hand (errr . no pun intended), if these other 41 (yer see the numerical significance now, folks) were born and bred right, their autumn careers won’t be wasted with legitimizing another type of blood-letting MACChination.

And this bloke had to be a party pooper of sorts, sharing the twin’s birthright on this auspicious day.

Look on the bright side.

You and hubby got two adorable kids to grow up with while he’s still trying to dump excess baggage at his age.

Poetic justice, eh ZZ.

P.S. Luv yer still though I don’t sigh as much.

NST [Print] – TEOH’s MOBILE PHONE FOUND (2009/07/20)

SHAH ALAM: Police investigations into the death of political aide Teoh Beng Hock, 30, took a fresh twist yesterday when it was revealed that his mobile phone had been found.

Selangor police chief Deputy Commissioner Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar confirmed that Teoh’s mobile phone had been recovered but declined to elaborate.

“I do not want to reveal where it was found because the information is crucial to our investigations,” Khalid said when contacted.

He said he would issue an official statement today [i.e. Monday 20th]. He also declined to say when the mobile phone was found.

Points to consider:

The Selangor CPO was videotaped by Mkini (recorded on 20/07/09) during which he revealed that TBH’s mobile phone was retrieved from the MACC investigating officer on Thursday 16th July ’09 (i.e. the day TBH died). It was not clear whether the MACC official was in possession of it BEFORE or AFTER TBH was released at 3.45am on the same day.

Why was KAB being evasive on where and when it was found?

1) I have read reports in which two of TBH’s friends were contacted. Although the exact times were not established, both calls had references to ‘attending a marriage event’ which would definitively repudiate a suicide. Surely, TBH does not need to ‘fabricate an alibi’ and then, proceed to jump off a building.

2) If TBH was assisting the MACC willingly, according to official reports, it would be incumbent for the MACC to keep him safe and alive. TBH would therefore be in possession of his mobile phone when he was released at 3.45am and be able to call his two friends. If so, the mobile phone must also be in his possession when he ‘landed’ several floors below. Did the MACC official retrieve the phone AFTER TBH was dead? Isn’t that tempering with evidence? Or did TBH leave it lying around in the MACC office when he decided to end his life suddenly?

3) If however TBH was indeed a ‘recalcitrant’ witness (but not a suspect), the MACC may have decided to ‘confiscate’ his mobile phone to gather more evidence but that would make it impossible for TBH to call his two friends after being released at 3.45am. And I doubt the MACC would allow TBH to use their office telephone to make personal phone calls.

4) Tan Boon Hwa was reported to have met TBH at the MACC pantry at about 6-6.30am. This indicates TBH presence within the MACC premises when he was also reported to be alive (and sleeping on a settee) by another unidentified witness. If TBH was ‘released’ by the MACC at 3.45am, he would also need a MACC official to help him exit the premises because an electronic card is required to deactivate the security system. Isn’t it therefore more logical to conclude that at about 6-6.30am, TBH was NOT RELEASED by the MACC? By virtue of its containment precautions, the MACC office is in fact a holding cell without any possibility of escape.

5) Very little is known of the period between 6.30am and 1.30pm. The authorities were equally ‘silent’ on this unaccounted grey period. Why? No witnesses, and no CCTV footage either, to offer irrefutable evidence of TBH’s (alive and well) whereabouts within the MACC premises. Was he in fact still under ‘interrogation’? (After all, we only have the MACC’s word that he was released earlier at 3.45am).

6) And if so, did TBH finally summon the courage to surreptitiously record the ‘interrogation’ methods of the MACC during this period with his mobile phone? Confiscating his mobile phone and/or covertly erasing its data may not have sufficed as we do not know whether things have gotten out of hand at this stage. TBH’s lower right leg may have been fractured by now (refer to photos). His phone may also be hidden in a pocket when the MACC officer was trying to retrieve it with TBH struggling which injured his right wrist and his pants getting torn (refer to photos).

7) Therefore, TBH was essentially never officially released by the MACC. His ‘cold’ encounter with Tan Boon Hwa in the pantry, conveniently made possible without an escort, was to gauge and get any conversation/information exchanged, and perhaps, only TBH realised this possibility.  TBH’s mind was still lucid as evident through making calls to his friends regarding his impending marriage, hence, suicide was not an option. He slept on a settee because he could not leave the premises, not that he would not.

Will we ever know the truth?

NTR’s 1Malaysia of ‘People First, Peformance Now’ hangs precariously in the balance if the IPCMC is not established and a RCI into the TBH tragedy is not done post haste. Heads must roll lest his become the obvious choice in the next GE.

Today, a very dear friend and blog buddy has passed on.

Images taken from TMI and Mkini respectively.

Take a close look at Teoh Beng Hock’s pants.

Does it appear torn to shreds on its derriere?

Did the marathon interrogation by the MACC , from 6pm to 3.45am the next day, go horribly wrong as speculated by RPK? Read here.

After all, there was a recent precedent to the MACC resorting to dubious methods in their investigation. Read here.

Add to this, the responses from the MACC’s investigation division director, Shukri Abdull, during a press conference and reported at Mkini –

~Why wasn’t Ean Yong informed? He learnt about this from the press.

~We didn’t know. We only know at 1.30pm when we saw the body. What time did Ean Yong find out?

~At 4pm. He learnt from the reporters. MACC did not contact him.

~(No reply)

And of course, this tragic episode was trifled with by none other than this bloke –

Nazri Aziz

who said,

~I was informed by MACC earlier that he was released yesterday (early this morning). Then he should have gone home .. and how would we know that he would jump out of the building?

So why didn’t TBH leave immediately since he must surely have had preparations to expedite for his marriage, preferring instead to hang around in the MACC building .. and taking a nap coz he was tired.

Under the circumstances, TBH could have easily made a phone call and get someone to pick him up, even if it’s 4.00am!

Furthermore, there is an unaccounted time-frame of 7.1/2 hours between 6am when he was last seen alive and sleeping on a sofa until found dead at 1.30pm.

How did TBH manage to elude witnesses to his presence in a building which should be crawling with MACC personnel?

Does the MACC allow a civilian to roam freely and unescorted within their premises?

If the MACC claims that TBH was not a suspect and was cooperative, why the haste in having the ‘after hours’ chit-chat?

It was also said by the MACC that TBH was to return to the their office with some documents which clearly indicated his intention not to abscond. Hence, there was ample time for the MACC to continue their investigation with a ‘willing’ non-suspect.

Last but not least, why did the Selangor CPO pre-emptively classify TBH’s demise as ‘sudden death‘ without any evidence of foul play so far when a proper autopsy has not been done yet?

Further, he reportedly said,

~Khalid told reporters that forensic teams from Universiti Putra Malaysia, Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Hospital Klang have examined Teoh’s body and the police had offered the victim’s family to bring their own team but it did not show up.

How many Malaysian families do you know have a forensic team available at their beck and call just in case a family member died suddenly?

Sometimes, I truly wonder if 1Malaysia is alive and well or D.O.A?
